CITATION:

Bronze Star (USA) : NIGEL C. BRIDGE, 187120, Captain British Army, for meritorious service in military operations against the enemy from 30 November 1944 to 14 May 1945, in France and Germany. Being charged with keeping the Seventh Army Staff and Corps Headquarters informed on the tactical situation in 12th and 21st Army Groups by means of radio, Capt BRIDGE, through his loyalty, tact, intelligence and devotion to duty, contributed greatly to efficient functioning of the G-3 Section, Seventh Army. His services were of particularly great value during the period of the Ardennes breakthrough in December 1944.
