Edwin Donald Ballard, 80, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born Thursday, Dec. 1, 1932, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Sunday, July 7, 2013, at his residence.
Edwin was retired from the U.S. Army as a chief warrant officer 3 in 1971 after serving 23 years. He spent two tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed boating, camping and fishing at Carlyle Lake. He was avid at square dancer and working with computers.
