I came across Henry's certificate whilst helping to research my wife's father's SAS story which was published a few months ago by Damien Lewis in his book ' SAS Great Escapes Two' Herbert Castelow 'The Butchers Shop Escapee.'

Your father in law was a very brave man and his memory and artifacts should be cherished.

Hi I have just come across this site after going through some of my late fathers photos, I found a photo with the name Nobby Radley in pencil on the back. Being curious I googled the name and was amazed to see the exact same photo appear with a link to this site. My father was also a Sergeant in the SAS at the same time as Nobby (Henry). Whilst stationed in Darvel my Father met my Mother at the local fish & chip shop after a short courtship of 6 weeks they married. A marriage which lasted for 50 yrs. I would love to find out more of my fathers service but have know idea where to start any advice would be much appreciated. I have photos that I would like to share but cannot seem to upload them
