I knew Joe, as a neighbour in Muskoka. Am still friends with his family. A harder tuff man hard to find. Joe would sometimes be looking at you and his grey eyes turned to granite. It actually made my blood run cold. The ten thousand mile stare. But also a kind and gentle soul. Shot in France and Italy, left for dead once. Tuff
As a man can be. I had and still have a monumental respect for Joe. And his wife Joanne was a pleasure to know as are his family. Especially Kathleen who is loyal to the FSSG ( The Devils Brigade) always.
