My father. Commanded Westralia 1942, then SNOBU, then NOIC of a couple of ports in PNG, then CO Penguin, retired from RAN 1949 and joined ASIO. Retired as Regional Director South Australia 1962 and then spent three years as ASIO rep in Greece and the UK. Died 1982.
