Nice picture with good visible L detachment era SAS beret badge. Note he wears a black tankers beret instead of tge sand beret.

Note the rare enamel SBS badge on the green beret.

This soldier belongs to No 2 commando given us black/ white lanyard.

I know the SAS regimental museum has excellent stuff but it is no longer displayed but stocked somewhere, hope the moth do not have a feast. It would be really nice if there would be a permanent display. The do have Paddy's sand beret!! May be get in touch with the regiment? Cheers JB
