    2 SAS Mission Nov/Dec 1944

    anyone any idea which one this may be? have found a letter from my Grandfather with a postmark of 23/12/1944 from colchester with return address no1 sqdn saying he had just come back from a mission... He had his radio shot up and the army took ?20 from him...bit harsh, unless he he shot it...

    Further to Geronimos' link, the Certificate of Kinship form allows the entry of either the Service number or in the absence of that the date of birth so hope that hekps.
