CITATION:

Military Medal : Lance Bombardier ANDERSON has been with this Regiment for one and a quarter years. During this time, both in action and out, his devotion to duty, behaviour and loyalty has been outstanding. On operations in Yugoslavia, Albania and finally Northern Italy he always showed complete disregard for his personal safety and set a splendid example to all around him. In the last battle, as a Carrier driver, often under intense enemy fire, he showed skill and great determination. In view of the continued good work that he has done, I strongly recommend him for the award.
