I am writing a history of his activities with S.O.E. to add as a permanent addition to the history of the people of Monmouth and have his papers from the National Archives. I am struggling with a few details. If anyone can help I would be most appreciative.
Where was S.S.T. 53A?
In September 1943 he was posted to the Director of Signals Section at S.T.S. 53B as Chief Signalmaster.
What was the M.O.J. (S.P.) Section?
From December 1943 to April 1944 he was still with the Director of Signals Section but carrying out experimental work and Special Duties. What was "Squinting"?
Between August 1944 to February 1945 he was posted to the Special Operations M (S.O. M) as Chief Signalmaster T.A.M. (Force 399). What was T.A.M.?
On 13th May 1945 he was posted to S.O.E Pool Section where he relinquish the rank of temporary Captain. What was the S.O.E. Pool?
The last parts of his record are a puzzle (see full record attached).
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
