Hi Tonybullant: I am researching film and photographic material of The Originals for a new film project. I am particularly interested to get Bill Fraser the recognition he deserves and this 35mm footage sounds very interesting. It would be great to talk further about the project. I have a photograph of Bill Fraser with my father Walter William Cottam and a group of SAS plus Tiny his dog. I believe this is the only other photo in existence of Tiny - the other one is on Paddy Mayne's shoulder. If you would like to see it let me know?

I just finished a trip through the Morvan in France. Partly guided by the book of Ian Wellsted : SAS with the maquis. Perhaps these pictures might interest you.
These can be found at the memorial museum at Dun les places. Taken at a remembrance ceremony in September 1945.
The last photo shows the new memorial to Bill Fraser and his men, inaugurated in July 2025.

I recommand to start at " la musée de la résistance at St Brisson. Certainly check the site : https://www.museeresistancemorvan.fr/en
They can give info on all interesting places to visit.
there are also temporary expositions in July and August.
We stayed at Quarré les tombes.

Ouroux en Morvan - cemetery in the woods - Maquis Bernard
Marigny l'église cemetery
Crain cemetery to visit the graves of Cpt Roy Bradford and Craftsman Devine who were killed near Lucy sur Yonne.
