Mr. Robertson,
Robert D. Hines was my father. He did serve in Burma after being transferred there following Guadalcanal. He said he was transferred due to his inability to keep his mouth shut and not argue with his commanding officer. He did have pictures of his time there. His DOB, DOD, and burial place are correct. I tried to get his complete military records but was told they were destroyed in an archive fire in St. Louis. Thanks!

Thanks Michael, my father who added the record passed away 2020. I've amended your father's record and added what i could find to his record. If you have any changes/amendments please let me know.
Best regards, Craig
