Paul was a year behind me in training at the Army Apprentices College in Harrogate. We were in the same Squadron and he was a really cheerful and friendly guy. He was one of the first of a group of young soldiers to be selected directly from training to join 264 SAS Signal Sqn and quickly made the move over to 22 SAS. It was with great sadness that I heard about his and many other SAS soldiers loss during a cross ship flight in the South Atlantic.... RIP Paul.... Never forgotten

Hey Sir…I am sitting here as a school friend of Paul. We Called him Nev and I was in his swimming team at school. On Tuesday next week I will meet with the Headmaster of our School and I am setting up a bursary programme in Pauls name to let someone live their life for Paul….he was our friend and is remembered on the wall of our School chapel and I know he is also remembered in Hereford with lots other brave Soldiers.I am not sure if he is Mum and Dad are alive but this little message on the internet signifies he is not forgotten……

Play up Dukies, I remember always sitting next to his name in Chapel and the services on the anniversary of his death along with Cartwright who was also SAS both died outside of combat and both so young and had so much ahead of them. Glad to hear of your plans! I went back for the last grand day and was a great time and the drill could do with a few improvements but I think that's the old boy catchphrase. I left in 2015 so thought you'd be glad to know there's still many of us who remember his name and courage.
