Bryant was my grandfather, killed in action, I believe somewhere near the French village of Chef du Pont, Normandy. He died in active battle, both firing and receiving incoming mortar. His war medal citations are as follows: Purple Heart medal, European-African/Middle Eastern Campaign medal with 1 Bronze Service Star, World War II Victory Medal, WWII Honorable Service Lapel Button, and the Parachute Badge. His proud grand-son, Chris.
