I am new to this site, and hoping someone can lead me in the right direction, on two questions.
I know my Father, Lt. Vincent P. Ralph was with the 2677th Special Recon. Bn., and the the 2671st; I have the mission reports and some information on that. His papers say he was in the campaigns, Rome-Arno, Southern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe. I would like to know when the 2671st joined each campaign.
Also, He stated he was back and forth like a yo-yo between England and France, behind enemy lines, some 50 days before D-Day, yet I can find nothing on that. Any suggestions?
