Thank you for this entry. It is my understanding that Bill McCrory came from a town called Medford. I would be interested in establishing the circumstances of his death That Morning. I read from sources in Stephen Ambrose's books that B Company casualties late on June 5 and early June 6 may have been from shoot downs (flak) or crashes rather than in armed combat, for want of a better way of putting it.
