On 28 August, Lt KIRSCHEN SAS and R. PIETQUIN, J. Moyse, H. FLIP and A. Jump from BOUILLON near Saint-Just between the Somme and the Seine. It is establishing a surveillance on the roads linking Paris in northern France, the Paris region REIMS and identify enemy convoys. They must also identify and locate enemy air anti batteries.

The region is heavily occupied by the enemy. With the help of the Resistance, the Squad found shelter in a barn where they settled for the night. A doctor from the Resistance hands over a card he had steal to a German officer. The document containing the record of German divisions on the Somme. Germans who settled near the barn discover the paratroopers. A battle is engaged and SAS manage to generate and transmit radio valuable information, which will be worth at Lt KIRSCHEN his first DSO (Distinguished Honorary British).

On 14 September, joined by Allied troops, the mission ends of the squad.
