In connection to my previous 'Raiding Forces', I also now submit a mystery photo that has written on the back:Editrea to desert. This is just one of many my father left when he died on 1st February 1992.

Thanks. I had to do a little digging around for this one and apparently these units were raised in the Middle East between 1942/44. The trucks (thanks to TRUX) are believed to be CMP Chevrolet 3tonners with the No.13 cab (roof removed)

It is surprising - to me at least - that once someone points me in the right direction I just keep finding out more about my father during his 'desert' time, even though it wasn't peaceful.
