CITATION:
Queen's Commendation for Valuable Service in the Air : In recognition of his valuable services in the air and leadership of 3 Commando Brigade Air Squadron during Operation HAVEN. His personal contribution was highly significant, choosing to lead many of the most dangerous missions himself, in particular the frequent armed air reconnaisance patrols over the many Iraqi Army positions.
