My Father has signed this menu as J Alcock SSM in 1943 at Phillipville North Africa. He caught malaria here which re-occurred later in Italy after the Taranto landings resulting in him being hospitalised to Sicily to an American Hospital. Here he reported an American nurse for stealing a German front lines soldiers watch. This man had been in the bed next to him but had died.

Other names that I can detect here are Waddington R, Jack Rooks Macdonald A, two men named Robinson, H M White, G Daniel
