John Wiseman troop commander
The soldier fourth from the left back row has been identified as Edgar Grimster. My father was at school with Edgar and remembers him being a brilliant sportsman. My father was told that Edgar was killed while taking a radio message, but it now seems more likely that he was on the lorry that took a direct hit at Termoli in Italy. Edgar is buried in the Sangro River War Cemetery Italy.

Front row, second from right, is definitely my brother-in-law Alex Skinner. Front row second from left, the one with the attitude, I am practically certain is Titch Davison. When on October 5 in Termoli John Wiseman said to Paddy Maine, "I have lost my unit", most if not all of these men were among the 17 killed by one shell hitting their lorry. Important to put more names to faces, please - anybody?

the soldier fourth from the back is William Stewart-Johnson my fathers brother. He is shown and named in previous photos. He was killed in Termoli when his truck took a direct hit.It is well documented in a number of books relating to 1 sas. I visited his grave in the Sangro River War Cemetery 5 or 6 years ago. It is in a nice area and very well maintaned. I hope this comment helps. Thank you
