just want to say that i,ve researched for this 3 Para officer for a number of years.its been very emotional finding him,in photo and full details of burial site.bless him,cptn jewkes was hit ,and died instantly,whilst administering morphine to my dad,Sgt Pete Baxter.dad was down and in bad trouble out in the open,yet cptn jewkes rushed to help him,at dreadful cost.A cpl, Butch Bruton, recovered mr jewkes and another kia 3 para pte davies.mr jewkes sacrifice affected dad remainding life.cptn jewk
