Born 7 August 1914, Birkenhead.
Served in Palestine pre-WW2 with the 1st Battalion, Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.
Joined Special Service Brigade, present with Special Raiding Squadron (1SAS) during Operation Devon (Termoli Raid). Served there under Captain Derrick Harrison, being sent out to patrol. Wounded in Action 5 October 1943.
Died Wallasey, Cheshire, November 1985.
