I was shocked to see that there were still pieces of the aircraft on the mountainside when we visited the site of the crash in 1988. My father, brother of Arnold Haward, still has a piece at his home in England. We have a few photos of the well-kept churchyard in Helleland with the 7 graves of the halifax crew.
