Dear Sir/Madam
I wish to know whether Pilot Officer 174006 was known as ` Percy `. I have a copy of the book The Dam Busters , written by Paul Brickhill. In this book which was given to my mother in 1953 is a poem undersigned John Percy Bell. My mother had many admirers one of whom was a pilot if it is this person then perhaps his family would like this poem to be in their possession.
