RAAF airmen of the Tempsford Special Duties Squadrons WW2

May I seek information concerning any RAAF airmen who flew in No. 138 (SD) Squadron or No.161 (SD) Squadron out of the secret Tempsford RAF Airfield, Bedfordshire, during World War 2? The RAAF airmen from these Squadrons who paid the supreme sacrifice during WW2 number 35, and their details are contained in the Honour Roll of the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. However there are many other RAAF airmen from these two Squadrons who survived the war. I would be most grateful to learn about any of these airmen? There remains a need to accord these men (and also any RAAF Airwomen who also served at Tempsford Airfield) due recognition of their gallant service. The intense secrecy of their Tempsford work has resulted in an unjust neglect of their contributions since World War 2.

Dear John

I've added details from Freddie Clark's Agents by Moonlight to the ROH list of RAAF 138 and 161 Squadron losses. Found your request and wondered if you found more...
I've contacted RAAF in OZ to make enquiries.

Maybe we should liaise
