I'd like to know who posted the entry about my father, William Hawk Daniels, as it contains information that I am not sure is correct. Also, I'm curious to know where they obtained a copy of the photo of him, which was taken in 1965.
 
Information came from his obituary in the New York Times and his photo from Life Magazine.
Please let me know of any incorrect or further biographical information.Do you have a wartime photo which could replace the later one ?
His award is on an OSS website listing all OSS award winners.

My wife's uncle Guy Songy served with William Hawk Daniels as OSS personell working with the Footman circuit of SOE in Southwest France July-September 1944. I've been doing some research in National Archives in Maryland on what they did and would be interested in sharing info. I noted also the NY info in the post with the photo of your father was wrong.
