Lance corporal Lawrence Roderick joined the partisan group in southern Tuscany (Italy) in 1943/4. He joined the partisan group in province of Grosseto where joined my father too. My father was a second lieutenant in the tank corps of Royal Italian Army. After the dissolution of the fascist government on 8 September 1943 he joined the partisan fight against the Nazi-fascists.
