Sorry Andy, I don't know where you got that story from. Mick died at the age of 87 of natural age-related causes but, as you say, he is much missed.

Mick was in the Parachute Regiment from 1949 to 1957. I do have photographs of Mick at what appears to be a christening but unfortunately there is no indication as to when they were taken or the location - or who the family group is. The person (presumably the father) holding the baby is...
