I read with interest in John Hislops Book "Anything but a soldier" That Leonard Owens M.M. (joe)
lived in Newcastle -upon -Tyne. As a fellow Geordie i would like to contact any surviving
family of joe's Re-his experiences. Does anyone know of any living relatives ?
Can anyone tell me if F squadron 1SAS and 2SAS wore white
P ( PHANTOM ) also would they wear and Pegasus with maroon beret and SAS badge.
As i understand it, post D day they were under 1st Airborne command. Finally can any one tell me the No of the radio set used in the field on JEEP
