I am looking for any information on my cousin Ranger Leon S. Paxton who is MIA. There are conflicts as to the date he went missing. Some have 16 October 1944 and other sources have 19 April 1945.

It would be great to correspond with someone who knew and served with him.
 
The date 16.10.1944 is probably correct as he was MIA in Italy.
The Memorial Tablets on cemetery records appear to quote the date when servicemen were finally declared KIA,often 1 year and 1 day later.
Do you have any photos or extra biographical info which would be very welcome ?
