Bob Nelson Lancaster Pilot WW2

Hi, I was introduced to Bob Nelson many years ago by my father. I was a young boy and will never forget dad telling me that Bob was a Lancaster Pilot - his plane crashed and all his crew was killed, except Bob. I do remember was a quiet unassuming chap and didn't ever want to fly again. My acquaintance with Bob took place at the then Forestry Office at Bellangry - outside of Wauchope.

Bob's probable dead by now (as I'm in my 60's).I was wondering if anyone knew Bob and what happened to him in later life?
