If anyone has any details on Bill Eaves, please send me a message. I am trying to piece together my grandfathers military history

He lived on the adjoing road to Lowes avenue, Gleeson Drive. I am trying to get as much information together as possible about him.

I'm not sure how helpful I can be, but Bill was a friend of my father's (b.1922). *When his mother moved to lowes avenue in the early 1970s, bill and he became reacquainted. My own mother thinks they met during training during the war. *He wasn't in the RAF, but in the Fleet Air Arm and served as a telegraphist air gunner in swordfish. *It is possible that they met in the UK (again, during training - my father was subsequently posted to Gibralter and then, later on, to Scotland) or they may even have had some shared local history. *I don't know. *I was only a child I'm the 1970s but I do remember Lea (?) who sometimes went on driving practice with my mother. *I have a vague recollection of going into their bungalow and being shown some 617 memorabilia. *Unfortunately, my father died 2 years ago. *He would of course have had all the details to hand, and could have explained how he knew Bill. *His name was Ron Gallent and was in the Fleet Air Arm between 1941 and 1945. *They may have trained on wireless together, at Worthy Down maybe?
