Ronald Sefton Gaffney

Ronald and I started to school together in the first grade, graduated from high school together 12 years later, and started together at Florida State University as Freshmen. I did not know why Ronald left FSU and joined the army or was drafted, but 3 years later, he was killed in action. Now, as our 50th High School Reunion grows near, I still think of him often and of the fine man he would be today if the cruelty of war had not taken him from his family, his friends and his country.
