it could be true, the Americans had agents on teh ground during this period, makes sense that the British would, but more likely mi6 agents. if there were sas men on teh ground and were captured it would be hard to find out as its probably still secret. British government wouldn't want to admit that it let sas men rot in Russia. or let the Russians know that the men they had were they re's. what info have you got that makes you think this anyway, that's probably the best place to start
