The instructor in the vest is my father Sgt Kenneth "Joe" Welch. He was a RAF PJI and arrived in Kabrit in September 1941 and assisted in the parachute training of The Originals in preparation for Operation Squatter. He was the despatcher during Operation Squatter in Stirling Stick.
