    I read with interest in John Hislops Book "Anything but a soldier" That Leonard Owens M.M. (joe) lived in Newcastle -upon -Tyne. As a fellow Geordie i would like to contact any surviving family of joe's Re-his experiences. Does anyone know of any living relatives ?

    Charles Frederick Reynolds

    Dear Rev John U.S. war graves Records show a Charles Frederick Raynolds 9th Infantry Div , as killed July 18 1944. Normandy. He lies in Coleville Cemetery Normandy. This of course may not be the same chap, but he could be, if a friend aquired his bible and went on to loose it at a later date...

    Can anyone tell me if F squadron 1SAS and 2SAS wore white P ( PHANTOM ) also would they wear and Pegasus with maroon beret and SAS badge. As i understand it, post D day they were under 1st Airborne command. Finally can any one tell me the No of the radio set used in the field on JEEP Mike ?
