I have a Bible in its army wrap picked up at the Battle of the Bulge. It has serial # on the outside of the wrap and writing inside from parents and family of one Charles Frederick Reynolds.
Don't know where to go from here in makinga connection with surviving family.
Any help?

Dear Rev John
U.S. war graves Records show a Charles Frederick Raynolds 9th Infantry Div , as killed July 18 1944. Normandy. He lies
in Coleville Cemetery Normandy. This of course may not be the same chap, but he could be, if a friend aquired his
bible and went on to loose it at a later date i.e. Dec 1944.
No on the bible may well be his Army No and you can check
this with war graves people, who will likely have contacts.
Kindest regards
Mike Cole
