BELL UH-1D (REGISTRATION: 66-01106)
On 09 Oct 1969 the command ship overseeing an insertion was shot down just south of Srak Karan (1), just by the Cambodian border in the North-Eastern most corner of Binh Long Province. The seven men aboard UH-1D tail number 66-01106, four aircrew and three Special Forces personnel, were killed in the incident:
