Author Damien Lewis has asked me if he can include my father's escape story in his next edition of 'SAS Great Escapes'. I will be interested to see how he deals with it. My version is in 'SAS Operation Pistol' of course. The key feature of this story is the German red-haired soldier. I wonder if anyone out there has their own theory.
