Known to my dad, Vernon Baldry, as “Bernie the Bolt” back when he was stationed at Plymouth! Dad has sadly passed but mum remembers the poems and songs Bernie would compose - some of which were too colourful to repeat! Bernie holds a special place in a family’s memories!
