I was just searching for articles about Paul Cyr when I came across this. He was my grandfather. But he was very quiet about his time at war, never spoke about it. As his granddaughter I never had any idea of his accomplishments, and it is only now as a grown woman I am starting to understand.

I've looked at my copy of "Fire from the Forest" - there is not a lot more info on Cyr.

Quite a distinguished service record.
