This amazing man was my grandfather.

I will always remember his fantastic stories of flying through flocks for birds and how he learnt how to march.

He never spoke of the raids but very very rarely he showed me his DFC and the letter from the king.

I can honestly say he was a truely amazing man and a very sorely missed grandfather.
