Hi There,

Leonard Disbray was my grandfather & the detail about his children is incorrect. He had 9 children with Noela (Nola was her preference) & I believe 36 grandchildren.

His mother was Rose Broomhead (or Bromhead). She passed away in the 1980’s

Thanks for putting this together. It was interesting to learn more about him.

Jess

Hi Jess, just thought I’d let you know that your great grandmothers maiden name is Beach. Broomhead was a married name after she was divorced from your great grandfather who I believe is Aunty Margs father and possibly Uncle Harry’s too. Not 100% sure. she died in the 1990’s, the year the Panthers won their first grand final. Maybe 1992??? Your grandmother passed away on 17/12/2010 not the 18th. Do you know who Debra Buchanan is? She is the person who supplied all of this information here. Ive never once heard that my father worked with horses lol. Interesting.

Hi Jess, just letting you know that your great grandmothers maiden name was Beach. Broomhead was her second married name after divorcing your great grandfather. Rose passed away in the 1990’s. The year the Panthers won the grand final for the first time. 1992?? Possibly.

Your grandmother passed away on 17/12/2010 not the 18th. Not that that this information is important in relation to my Dad.

Do you know who Debra Buchanan is, who has supplied all of this information about my Dad? Ive never heard my father ever talk about working with horses but he never really spoke much of the past for obvious reasons.
