Hello
Allan was my great uncle and wondered if anyone had any further info on what happened during termoli and the missions leading up to Oct 5

Hi,

In his superb book about the Special Raiding Squadron, Stewart McClean notes Allan Duncan as being killed when the German shell hit the truck killing seventeen men of No 1 Troop.

Best wishes,

Ian

Thank you both for your information. I will have a look for the book.
I visited the war grave at sangro river, Italy. It is nice to see all the graves so well looked after
