Hi there John Elliott was a distant cousin of mine I wonder if anyone has any more information please about his SAS service other than operation Loyton?

A few pages about him in The SAS And LRDG Roll Of Honour mainly regarding Operation Loyton. Doesn't mention much about pre-operation Loyton, except he joined SAS 24 August 1943 in Algiers and after extensive training he arrived back in UK the following March.

Jack Elliott lodged with my mother in Buxton before the war. I have his military record and also some background family information, if that is of any interest to you? Also he served in Spain with the International Brigades.
