I have noticed a reference to an Ernest Crosse Temple on your site and I am eager to find out more about him as my aunt, now in her 80s, has a story about Guy Gibson and two other airman one called Temple (nicknamed Shirley)and another ?? Llewelyn who visited her parents farm in East Keal, lincs during the winter of 1942. I am wondering whether this could be the same chap. I believe he was in 617 squadron based at Woodhall Spa but not sure when. Any info. Appreciated.
