Hi. My late father (died 1988) was a stamp dealer. He had extensive dealings over many years with Mr. McKay who was, as you may not know, a well known stamp repairer. His ability to repair and regum damaged stamps was un paralleled. And more importantly he could retouch damage to the artwork.

It doesn't take much to realise he was almost certainly the document forger in Colditz.

I believe he was a trained artist
