An extreme long shot I know. But my father, Harold William Arber (Born 1902 London. Died 1954 London) was in special forces in the Second World War. Since he died when I was very young I don't know much more about what unit he was in, though at one point was photographed in an American Red Cross uniform. (Which seems strange to me?)
I have his birth and death certificates but nothing much in between except that for a time pre Second World War he was in the Merchant Navy.
Just wondered if anyone had come across his name? Especially what unit he was with?
