My great grandfather was part of the 16th Brigade. I have been researching his part in the campaign and he was awarded a Distinguished Conduct Medal for his actions on 27th March 1944.
I have information relating to events and movements around that time and may be able to find out more information f needs be with regards to the death of your cousin. In formation about events can be found in war diaries of that time.
