As most of you will probably have read the last of the original 65 members of L Det SAS ,Jimmy Storie, died 8th January 2012 in Laurencekirk,Kincardineshire. He was originally from my home town of Ayr and will be sadly missed by the SAS and Special Forces community.
You and your family will never be forgotten.

I had the privilage to meet him in August 2011 at the David Stirling memorial;amongst only a very small group of wartime veterans in attendance for this event.
